Catechists

We have a dedicated group of people who help prepare people of all ages for the Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, Holy Communion and Confirmation.

 

Credit Union

The Credit Union is a co-operative where people can save, and from which people can withdraw low cost loans. This is available before the Sunday 10 am Mass

 

Guild of St Stephen

The Guild of Saint Stephen aims to encourage the highest standards of serving at the Church's liturgy. The Guild aims to provide altar servers with a greater understanding of the liturgy so that they may serve with increasing reverence and prayerfulness.  The Guild's website can be found at http://guildofststephen.all-catholic.net/

Parish Pastoral Council

The Parish Pastoral Council meets regularly throughout the year to organise parish events and advise the Parish Priest.

 

SVP

The St Vincent de Paul Society ("SVP") is an international Christian voluntary organization dedicated to tackling poverty and disadvantage by providing direct practical assistance to anyone in need. Active in England & Wales since 1844, today it continues to address social and material need in all its many forms. Our Parish group meets biweekly after the Thursday evening Mass. Prayer Group

The group aims to grow closer to Jesus Christ through praying together, "whenever two or three gather in my name, I am truly present" Matt 18:20. We meet biweekly after the Thursday evening Mass

 

Mothers Prayers

Mothers Prayers was formed to help those mothers who wished to pray together for their children and grandchildren and to find the support they needed. We have two groups in our parish, one which meets after Mass on Monday mornings and the second group meets at 6pm on Thursdays. Their website can be found at www.mothersprayers.org/
